Frances De Forrest, BSN, RN, is an independent health consultant who believes healing begins with listening, education, and informed choice. Through We Stand for The Trees, she works with clients to create personalized health plans that support whole-person wellness.

Her approach brings together experience in Western medicine, nutrition, herbal medicine, cannabis education, preventive and regenerative wellness. Frances enjoys helping people better understand their health stories, navigate health care choices, build self-care practices, and improve nutrition and overall well-being.

Originally from the East Coast, Frances earned her Associate Degree in Science from Delaware Technical and Community College in 1997. Before moving to the mountains of Montana with her two daughters in 1998. She later completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with a minor focus in Health Law and Ethics, through Drexel University in 2015.

Over the years, Frances has continued studying herbal medicine, soil and human health, local food systems, nutritional psychiatry, Tribal and rural health, and integrative approaches to care including natural building with hemp. She serves as a Forum Organizer for the Northwest region with the Alliance of Nurses for Healthy Environments and writer for the Montana Cannabis Magazine.

Outside of her work, Frances spends much of her time gardening, growing organic medicinal herbs and food, creating botanical printing and creating, hiking and soaking in hot mineral springs, enjoying open-water swimming, and fire flow dancing. Her work and personal life are rooted in the belief that health, resilience, and happiness can continue to grow throughout every stage of life. Frances is known to provided free health consultations  in the small rural town where she resides. For those that are able donations via pay pal and paying clients are accepted.
